Poultry Grit (limestone) 50 lb
This is an important grit source mixed with Calcium (38%) which is meant to help layer hens meet their daily requirement for Calcium. Limestone is the most common source of calcium used in livestock feeding. The shell of each egg that hens are laying is made up of nearly 95% calcium carbonate by dry weight.
This is predominantly calcium-based and can be in the form of limestone (calcium carbonate), either as small chips, or crushed oyster or mussel shells.
